"This work aims to help clarify what was the uniqueness of Spanish imperialism during the early Franco time and, specifically, how it was represented in cinema. This article discuss two medical documentaries produced in the second half of the 40s: "Enfermos en Ben Karrich" (Santos Núñez, 1949) y "Los enfermos de Mikomeseng" (Manuel Hernández Sanjuán, 1946)".
