Between Mountains and Remedies\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><p data-start=\"152\" data-end=\"501\">On the occasion of International Women\u2019s Day, the Uriach Foundation has organized the exhibition \u201cThe Trementinaires: Between Mountains and Remedies\u201d to highlight the legacy of these brave and entrepreneurial women who, between the mid-19th and early 20th centuries, traveled across Catalonia offering natural remedies to support their families.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"503\" data-end=\"765\">In today\u2019s society, the <em data-start=\"527\" data-end=\"543\">trementinaires<\/em> symbolize the bond with nature and the importance of preserving traditional knowledge. Their memory inspires the revival of natural medicine and the growing interest in more holistic approaches to health and well-being.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"767\" data-end=\"933\">These women stand as an emblem of female empowerment, reminding us of women\u2019s ability to lead, innovate, and sustain communities through their knowledge and skills.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"935\" data-end=\"1226\">Their influence also extends to the appreciation of biodiversity and the preservation of ecosystems\u2014crucial aspects in the current fight against climate change.
