On March 12 and 13, the 5th Nutraceutical Conference, titled “Bioactive Compounds and Nutraceuticals”, was held in Tarragona and organised by the Uriach Chair in Nutraceuticals. The event brought together researchers, professionals and students to discuss the latest developments in the sector.
The programme combined different lectures and opportunities for exchange focused on bioactive compounds, functional ingredients and nutraceuticals, consolidating the conference as an essential meeting point for sharing knowledge and fostering new connections between the academic and professional worlds.
One of the highlights of this edition was the session dedicated to bioactive compounds in menopause, which sparked great interest among attendees. The topic of women’s wellbeing and health was undoubtedly one of the most well-received themes of the event.
The conference featured the participation of Alba Domínguez, Innovation Senior Director, in the opening session, and Rosa Raventós, Consumer Product Development Director, in the award ceremony for the best scientific posters.
With this fifth edition, the Nutraceutical Conference continues to grow and strengthen its position as a leading forum for advancing knowledge, research and outreach in the field of nutraceuticals.
