The Uriach Libraries: From Paper to Pixel

22 april – 6 may 2025

Organized by the Uriach Foundation, the exhibition explores the evolution of the different libraries the company has had throughout its history: the first Technical Library, created in 1962 to give researchers access to the latest trends and studies; the Popular Library, which opened its doors in 1973 to offer the company’s employees novels, biographies, and essays; the History of Health Sciences Library, established in 1969 with the aim of collecting and disseminating the history of disciplines such as medicine, pharmacy, and botany; and, finally, the successor of the latter: the current Digital Library, available on the Uriach Foundation’s website.

The exhibition highlights the company’s steadfast commitment to libraries, whether technical, popular, or historical, in physical, digital, and hybrid formats, as a key element for the transmission of knowledge, legacy, and future.
