As part of its publishing activities, the Uriach Foundation 1838 published this comprehensive guide on Santa María del Mar, one of the most emblematic buildings in the city of Barcelona and, at the same time, a site closely linked to the history of the company. The work provides a detailed account of aspects such as the agreements for its construction, the financing of the project, its architectural features, and its interior furnishings.
The book presentation took place in the Sala Moragues of the Born Centre de Cultura i Memòria and featured the participation of Mr. Javier Uriach, Vice President of the Uriach Foundation and editor of the work; Salvador Pié, rector of the basilica; the authors, Mr. Joan Domenge and Mr. Jacobo Vidal; as well as the architectural photographer responsible for the images illustrating the publication, Mr. Aleix Bagué. The event was presented by journalist and science communicator Mr. Enric Calpena.
