From September 16 to November 15, 2024, the Uriach Foundation is presenting the exhibition “Trementinaires: Between Mountains and Remedies” at the library of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC).
The exhibition explores the history of a group of brave and enterprising women who, between the mid-19th and early 20th centuries, dedicated themselves to bringing natural remedies across Catalonia while preserving local knowledge and traditions.
As a complement to the exhibition, two related activities will take place in November 2024:

11/11/24: Guided tour of the exhibition “History of the Trementinaires, the Women Healers of Catalonia.” Led by the Edulis Environmental Education Association, with the collaboration of: UPC Baix Llobregat Campus Library, Uriach Foundation, Ramon Fernandez Jurado Public Library, and UPCArts.

14/11/24: Workshop on creams and ointments made with herbs (the modern trementinaire). Conducted by Olga Gener from EEABB.
