This past February 3, by chance, Dr. Joan Uriach Marsal, founder and president of the Uriach Foundation 1838, and Dr. Josep Danon, former director of the institution, met again. It was a very moving encounter that took place right on the street, in front of Dr. Danon’s home.
Together they add up to an impressive 184 years, the same age as the history of our company. Two living examples of the history of our institution, to whom we owe our very existence.
With the publication of this photograph, the Uriach Foundation 1838 wishes to pay a warm and modest tribute to these two figures who have contributed so much to the industrial, academic, and cultural life of our country.
