  • Round Table: ‘Cycles of Traditional Care ()

    At the National Museum of Science and Technology of Catalonia (Terrassa), a round table was held on the importance of traditional care and natural products. This activity, organized by MNACTEC in collaboration with the Uriach Foundation, was part of the parallel events to the exhibition “Medicines in Catalonia: Business, Science and Innovation for Health”, created by the Uriach Foundation 1838.

    The round table featured the participation of Mr. Lluís Caelles Garreta, journalist; Dr. Josep M. Sans Escolà, physician; Ms. Rosa Raventós, R&D Manager at Uriach Natural Consumer Healthcare; Ms. Rosa Ferrer de Dios, nurse; and, as moderator, Mr. Mauri Domènech, meteorologist.

  • Trementinaires (UPC) ()

    As a complement to the exhibition “Trementinaires: Between Mountains and Remedies”, organized by the Uriach Foundation at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, several activities have been arranged to highlight the benefits of natural health.

    11/11/24: Guided tour of the exhibition “History of the Trementinaires, Women Healers of Catalonia”. Led by the Environmental Education Association Edulis, with the collaboration of: Campus Baix Llobregat

    14/11/24: Workshop on creams and ointments made with herbs (the modern trementinaire). Led by Olga Gener, from EEABB.
