Evolution of Pharmaceutical Advertising (1940–1980): The Uriach Case

The exhibition, held at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Barcelona, presents a selection of posters and advertising materials from the Uriach Foundation Archive to illustrate the historical evolution of Uriach Laboratories, some of its most popular medicines, as well as the advertising and artistic styles used by designers and artists who have collaborated with Uriach over the years.

This retrospective offers a look at how pharmaceutical advertising has adapted throughout history to the tastes and styles of each era, as well as to changing regulations and legislation in the field.
