El espíritu del pájaro, 1998 (marble)A marble sculpture that allegorically represents a bird. Created in the Italian region of Carrara, from where the marble was sourced, it was designed ad hoc for Uriach as an outdoor water sculpture.

El espíritu oriental, 1998 (marble)A set of marble sculptures inspired by Japanese culture. The main figure represents the values of the samurai and, through its organic form, connects directly with the earth. The other, smaller sculptures symbolize the education, discipline, and intellect required to attain a higher spirit.

This connection stems both from the importance of overseas trade and from the location of the company’s first laboratory in the Barceloneta neighborhood, near the port.
