The Uriach Foundation deeply regrets the passing of Dr. Joan Sabater Tobella, who maintained a close relationship with our institution and served on its Board of Trustees from its earliest days.
Dr. Sabater Tobella was a member of the first Board of Trustees of the Uriach Foundation, established in 1988, serving as an institutional trustee representing the Royal Academy of Pharmacy of Catalonia, an institution he chaired from 1981 to 1990. His appointment to the Board reflected, from the Foundation’s very beginnings, its commitment to strengthening ties with the academic, scientific and pharmaceutical communities.
A Doctor of Pharmacy and a renowned specialist in clinical analysis, he pursued a long and distinguished professional and academic career in the health sciences.
At the Uriach Foundation, we would like to express our recognition and gratitude for his longstanding relationship with and contribution to our institution over the years, and to extend our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones.
